I simply love the fact that online shopping lets you review all your choices in peace and then decide what you want to buy. It also gives you some awesome suggestions about how to create a look with a certain piece of clothing.

Shop on Tuesday and Fridays

The best discounts on clothes and accessories are available on Tuesdays and Fridays. Multiple studies have suggested that the average discount on these days are much better than other days of the week. Many people have more time on the weekends to browse for their favorite clothes and accessories. However, as prices go up at this up, you end up paying more than you should. From now on, focus on buying everything you want on a Tuesday or a Friday. You could save a lot.

Just abandon the cart

Don’t be in a rush when you are buying clothes and accessories online. Just browse for what you want, add it to your cart and leave. You could get it for an additional discount very soon. How does this happen? Most websites track what you are doing. Just add a few things to your cart, make sure that you have everything in order and simply abandon that cart. It is highly likely that you will receive an email with a discount code or a promo code in your email soon, which could help you save some money.

Many websites use cookies as well. Therefore, when you abandon the cart, you may see the items you like at a smaller price, being advertised on the next website you visit. This usually works when you browse through an item extensively, read reviews, click on the pictures and more but don’t add it to cart. It is a simple way to circumvent the system, play a little hard to get and find the best discounts on products that were available at their markup prices.

Open an incognito window for coupon codes

Whenever you are shopping online, keep an incognito window open where you can shop for coupon codes. Now, stack some of the coupons that you could use on the items you want to buy and add them all together for a staggering discount. If that doesn’t work for you or if the website doesn’t allow you to stack coupons, work up the system a little bit.

Let’s say that you want to buy shoes, denims and accessories. Find three different coupon codes for each of the categories. Now, add a category of items one by one to the cart and apply the coupon code. You will be getting a decent discount on your purchase.
